
ABOUT
Mackenzie is a Canadian theatre maker who grew up in Brampton, Ontario. With a passion for interdisciplinary art, Mack is an actor, director, playwright, and designer. At 22 he graduated from Theatre and Drama Studies program at the University of Toronto and Sheridan.
Recently, he had the opportunity to work at his alma mater, hired to work as a production assistant for the 2019/2020 Theatre Erindale season. He worked as the assistant director under David Matheson for their epic production of The Hobbit while also coordinating the 2019 Beck Theatre Creation Festival.
Mack's recent credits include After Icarus (UofT Drama Festival, director/designer), Kore (Beck Theatre Creation Festival, director/designer/playwright), and The Hobbit (Theatre Erindale, assistant director). He played Leo Irving in In the Next Room, Midas/Morpheus/Sleep in Metamorphoses, and Sebastian/Valentine in Twelfth Night (Theatre Erindale).
